Preserving and Celebrating Cultural Heritage by Recovering Lost Artifacts from Shipwrecks all over the World
About
Our mission is to preserve and celebrate cultural heritage by recovering lost artifacts from shipwrecks and sharing them with the world.
Silverline Archeology Founder, Gustavo German Moro is an Argentinian-American ocean explorer and expert in historical naval research. In 1997, his company SubAmerica Discoveries Inc. discovered and excavated the Jesus Maria de la Limpia Concepcion, a Spanish treasure galleon lost off the coast of Ecuador in 1654. Moro directed the excavation of the archeological site in partnership with the Ecuadorian government, recovering sunken treasure and artifacts of great cultural significance. During the last ten years, he has developed marine archeology projects in Uruguay, Colombia, The Bahamas, and most recently, a new one off the Florida Treasure Coast, with the search for the 1715 Treasure Fleet.
